About this guide

Tromso-Northern-Lights.com is an independent guide to seeing the northern lights from Tromsø, Norway. We are not a tour operator, Visit Tromsø or GetYourGuide, and the site name describes what we write about rather than a business. For the city's official tourist information, see visittromso.no.

Facts here are checked against the operators' own listings on GetYourGuide (including recent guest reviews), Visit Tromsø, the Norwegian weather service and other published sources. Tour details and seasons change; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend, including telling you when a short cruise cannot chase clear sky. Details on the affiliate disclosure page.
